Only one year mate? not giving a second yr a crack? Oh, and BTW, I've seen the girls you're friends with on facebook. No way you can get away with those lies! No, I just meant i'll be back as soon as our school year is over and will be back playing for the Garth over the break! Midwest is very tuff, weather is a huge factor and cabin fever sets in early. Lando, why aren't u staying there and playing summer, Mink League not far from you, great for your baseball and living with host families is generally very good. Unless you really want to come home, summer collegiate league baseball is great. And sorry to disappoint you on the other part mate. BTD, weather here has been terrible. It was snowing during one game we played (quite literally, snow falling during the game... it was bizarre!). It is still snowing in some parts, snow fell the other night 90 mins drive from here which is just not right! We've also had a fair few games cancelled due to snow & rain. We were supposed to head to Kearney, NE (University of Nebraska-Kearney, where Jordan Mitchelhill is at) at the end of March to play against a JUCO from Kansas, but they couldn't even get the tarp off the field because of all the snow! Midwest baseball sucks! At times it even makes those Winter Carnivals seem like summer!

Summer League baseball looks pretty good, and alot of good baseballers go through those leagues.
However, i've thrown a measly 6.2 innings, hardly doing anything exciting, and I imagine pretty hard to get onto a Summerball team with numbers like that.
Also, I can't afford to do it financially. Plan is to come back and work, work, work to be able to go back. Flights, insurance, spending money, books, tuition, it all adds up.
I might try and play Summerball after my Sophomore year in Canada, the WMBL League is supposed to be one of the best Collegiate leagues and one of my teammates plays there, so I have a connection there. Christian Wise (WA) played with my college teammate last Summer, and apparently had a pretty successful Summer with the Moose Jaw Okotoks (I hope I got that right).

Well it's that time of year again, after an unprecedented influx of our younguns to college last year, who's off either again this year or off for their first stint. I'll start it off, my youngun will do his senior year and hopefully graduate at a NAIA uni in Tennessee

The whole Bannister family left this morning. The only thing left is a hub cap from a once owned Toyota Kluger in a once owned drive way!! Wish Jon and his family all the best in their new adventure and good luck Jon with your baseball bud!! The Bannister family have been a massive part of the Bony Club in both seasons and they will be missed - good luck guys!!

According to Facebook, Andrew Jones (Upwey/Ringwood) has just signed a letter of intent to transfer to University of Hawaii (D1 NCAA) for his final 2 years of schooling.

James Brooks drafted in 20th round by Nationals. Good effort that.
