Preston Pirates (lowly) Divi 3 IN: Three new young guys which I met Sunday. Some raw talent there, but we'll see which team they end up on. Apologies in advance (especially if they are on this forum) as I'm terrible with names and it will take me about 1/2 the season to get them right, but that's just me.
Out: Heath Pendleberry - Taking a break
Of the rumoured 'outs' this is the only one I can confirm thus far. We'll see about the rest, but this Sunday and next weeks midweek practice will be very telling.

Could be secret. I haven't been able to confirm anything yet on O'Reilly. In the 'Rumour Mill' thread I think I mentioned that he showed up to a practice about 2 weeks ago, but haven't seen him since and he didn't participate, just had a chat to coaches, so that may be true, we'll see.
I think I read you were in Divi 3 too. What team are you with secret? You can PM me if you don't want to share 'openly.' How's your 'team' shaping up?

Seppo, i played for Chelsea last year... not there this year so wouldn't know... Ah, no worries secret. Off to a divi 1 or 2 club this year? You might recall who I am (or this will give you some idea). A game out at Chelsea last year during the second half, I was the guy who after my first at bat getting rung up looking, took the handle end of the bat and drew a line outside the plate where I thought the pitch had crossed. Oddly enough, I was in 'my own world' and wasn't (seriously) trying to show up the umpire, just trying to assess how I would reach that pitch if I saw it again. Turned around, unfortunately the ump had seen the whole display and tossed me and our playing manager Geoff Rietschel. Don't know if you recall that, but that was my first time getting tossed in this league!

O'Reilly a definate in for Doncaster, been training the house down.
Outs for Donny
Stuss - Resting Pazz - Resting Smoke - Resting (but already feeling the itch! may be back sooner rather than later) All may return at some time during the year

O'Reilly a definate in for Doncaster, been training the house down. Well runningbunt, if that is a definite, then the 'definite' outs for Preston are now Out: Heath Pendleberry - resting Jake O'Reilly - Doncaster Not totally surprising though given Marsh is the co-coach over there.

I know he has been talking about playing masters with his mates at blackburn.
You do not need a clearance to play masters, so he can return to Donny at any time.
He is definately sniffing around the club already. I don't think he has given up on playing ones again. You are a long time retired.
Maybe it is just wishful thinking but I hope he keeps going. The masters will always be there.

I heard D Gribbin was taking a season off too. Pretty wrecked after a long footy season I'm guessing?

T Ellis may be another interesting one for Chelt, could go either way now he's no longer a pro, could just have a spell or could go flat out to get another sniff
