Recommended Browser

We highly recommend that forum users use Firefox as their default web browser.

One of the major advantages of using Firefox is that you can add extensions that will enhance your web viewing.

The ads that appear on this site do so automatically and forum admins and users cannot disable them without paying a fee to make the board ad free.

Currently this fee is $US7 per 50,000 page views. As of 25-05-09 (yr to date) we have had 1.75 million page views so one can appreciate that to make the forum google ad free would cost us approx $400 plus per year. We have chosen not to make it ad free at this stage. This may be reviewed in future owing to demand.

You can download the latest Firefox version at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

Member Messages:

As most would be aware, registered members may "PM" (Privately Message) another member.

All you need to do is click on the members name and you will be given an option to "Send A Personal Message" to that member.

If you send a message the person would get a "pop up box" appear on their screen when they next log in.

You can always check your previous and latest posts by clicking on the links at the bottom right side of "Info" thread which appears at the bottom of the front page.

If you are not sure where this is, check out this snapshot http://www.baseballradio.baseball.com.au....t_Messages.jpg

You can also use the message link displayed at the top right hand corner of the page.

Display Template Skins:

Registered Members have the choice of choosing which "display skin" they have appear when they are logged on.

There are currently three skins that can be selected by members as their default display when they are logged in.

In each each members profile settings there is an option to select which display skin you want to use when logged in. This snapshot shows where in your profile setting that it appears http://www.baseballradio.baseball.com.au....kin_Select. jpg

You have the choice of selecting either the "default" or "Aussie" or "Contempt" skin as the one you want to display. After selecting which one you want to use just hit the "update profile" button at the bottom of the page.

To give you an idea of what each one looks like you can check them out here:

Default

There was another skin called "Aussie" but I have since changed the default skin to be the "Aussie Theme" as most members are currently using it as their default.

Contempt
http://www.baseballradio.baseball.com.au....ntempt_Skin.jpg

Other than the default skin (which is what people not logged on see), you must be logged in to see it once you have selected it as "your"default".

Personally, I have using the Default skin. (Green and Yellow")
